DESOBESI-M – Indications
DESOBESI-M® is indicated as anorectic in the treatment of obesity.
Contraindications to DESOBESI-M
DESOBESI-M® IS CONTRAINDICATED F O R P A T I E N T S W I T H CARDIOVASCULAR DISORDERS, INCLUDING SEVERA MODERATE HYPERTENSION, AND PATIENTS WITH HYPERTIREOIDISM, GLAUCOMA,
A N D E X T R A P I R A M I D A L ALTERATIONS. It is contraindicated to pregnant and breastfeeding women, patients with psychiatric disorders, epilepsy and chronic alcoholism.
Warnings
It should not be given to patients with a history of drug abuse, pregnant women and breastfeeding women. It should be administered with caution to patients with mild hypertension, renal dysfunction and unstable personality. Attention diabetics: contains sugar. Diabetic patients should be monitored periodically. Drug withdrawal should be gradual when prolonged and high-dose use.
DESOBESI-M drug interactions
Lithium and alpha-methyl tyrosine may antagonize the effects of DESOBESI-M®.
Adverse Reactions / Side Effects of DESOBESI-M
Central Nervous System: dizziness, tremor, irritability, overactive reflexes, weakness, tension, insomnia, confusion, anxiety and headache. Cardiovascular system: chills, paleness or flushing of the cheeks, palpitation, cardiac arrhythmia, anginal pain, hypertension or hypotension, and circulatory collapse. Gastrointestinal tract: Dry mouth, metallic taste in the mouth, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal cramps. Endocrine system: altered libido. Chronic use can cause psychic dependence and tolerance.
DESOBESI-M – Posology
Take one capsule daily at 10 am or at the
doctor’s discretion.
Overdose
In case of overdose, ammonium chloride should be administered in order to cause acidification of the urine and increase the excretion of the drug. Pharmacological characteristics
